In this episode of the podcast I interview writer and director Marc Lawrence about his new film, The Rewrite, Starring Hugh Grant And Marisa Tomei. The film follows a screenwriter (played by Hugh Grant) a few years after winning an Oscar who is struggling to maintain his career, so he’s forced to take a job at a New York college where he thinks he’ll be able to collect an easy pay check and work on his latest feature. In the interview Marc talks about how he got his start in the business and some of the screenwriting lessons we can take away from his latest film.
